Listing Information:
The Haddon Fortnightly is a civic and social club for women and is a member of the New Jersey State Federation of Women’s Clubs (NJSFWC) and the General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC). The Fortnightly was organized in 1894 by a group of twelve women who felt a lack of cultural opportunities in this area and decided to establish in Haddonfield a “center for promotion of educational, literary and social interests in the community.” From that small beginning The Haddon Fortnightly has become an organization well known and respected throughout the State of New Jersey. The Haddon Fortnightly is proud to have served its community for over 120 years and warmly welcomes new members.
